You get 20 points for passing tech. New this year, your car must pass tech to receive points. Just buying a tech card no longer counts.
Qualifying points are as followed:
#1 - 16 points #2 - 15 points #3 - 14 points #4 - 13 points #5 - 12 points #6 - 11 points #7 - 10 points #8 - 9 points #9 - 8 points #10 - 7 points #11 - 6 points #12 - 5 points #13 - 4 point #14 - 3point #15 - 2 point #16 - 1 point
Racers qualifying beyond the 16th position will receive no points for qualifying position.
During elimination 20 points are added for each round you stage you car under its own power. 20 points are added for the class winner. For example if you race & lose 3rd round you get 60 points. If you win 2nd round but break and cannot return for the 3rd round you get 40 points (for 1 & 2 rounds only)
In the non index classes 20 points are awarded after the event if there is a new ET or MPH record holder. If either record is reset multiple times only the racer holding the record at the end of eliminations is awarded the points
