Steve Petty only found 150 more hp what a surprise .that the reason the man is in demandand received the award this year from fun ford, but come on Steve only 150hp more to rear tires that was probably the cheapest money one could spend for that kind of improvement

Probably not nearly as much as it took for you guys to finally get solidly into the 170's at jackson.

The rules USED to state the fuel that was approved and I am pretty sure it discluded Nitro.  It might have even said "no nitro".  I haven't seen that rule in a while but I am pretty sure it was in the rules about two years ago.

I know the safety rules require you to wear nitro gear to run alcohol what would be the big deal about running Nitro/Alcohol mix in OUTLAW 10.5?

NITRO is not legal for use in ORSCA in any class, we do not have the safety personnel on hand at our races to combat a nitro fire or explosion.

Thanks, Ray, ORSCA Tech

Sounds like someone needs to hire a fuel man to check the fuel in some cars.

I can tell you this, as much Methanol as we are pushing through these injected cars I promise it burns your eyes.  We just spent two days trying to reroute the tail pipe on a car because it was killing driver and crew.  Come on up and stand next to the car.  It is running 100% Methanol and I promise you won't stay long.

Scott, you are exactly right.  Methanol DOES burn your eyes, and very badly.  Ask Shep, that's why his helmet is vented.

I agree to that one Scott. The Madman & Co EZ Street car that Brady owns and Brewer drives gives everyone at the starting line a snoot full every pass.

Well I guess the fun is over. ORSCA has said no NITRO.
Well thats cool because we have never touched it to begin with.
The key to our success is simple it goes like this
MFI (High Performance Controls)
PTC (Torque Convertors)
Turbonetics
Torco Methanol
598 CI

But we cannot be held responsible for how much Methane Torco puts in the Methanol.
