Matt, I talked to Glenn last night. All I can say is, I hope your butt can cash the checks that your mouth has been writing. Glenn said that he feels like that little "406" is going to have a little problem keeping up with Big Daddy Gene's 632. You have a big motor, I just don't know who to bet on. Guess I have to stick with my Team, huh. Paul Baxter

I SAY WE FIND SOMEONE TO PUT ON A RACE FOR JUST THE REGULAR INDEX RACERS IN 7.0,6.0,AND 5.0 WITH NO BRAKEOUT RULES. I'D LOVE TO SEE WHAT ALL THESE CARS CAN DO ALLOUT. I KNOW THERE'S A FUE CARS THAT ARE NOT MEETING THERE FULL POTENTIAL IN THE CLASSES THAY RUN. THEN WE CAN SEE JUST WHO THE TOP DOGS ARE AND WHO IS THE PUPS DOING ALL THE BARKING. ANYONE WILLING TO PUT THIS RACE ON. HOW ABOUT THE RACERS WOULD YOU SHOW UP FOR THIS RACE. TWIGGS WOULD BE A GREAT PLACE FOR IT!

YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH BATMAN. I KNOW MY LITTLE 565 IS NOT THE BIGGEST OR BADDEST, BUT IT SHURE WOULD BE FUN TO SEE WHAT SOME OF THESE CARS ARE CAPABILE OF RUNNING. I THINK IT SHOULD BE AT LEAST A ONCE A YEAR RACE FOR EACH CLASS TO SEE WHO WILL HOLD THE NAME (TOP DAWG).

OK. Let me clarify for the people who do not undertand this concept. It will ONLY  be open to the 5.0, 6.0 7.0 regulars or let's say registered members. It will NOT  be open to to just anybody( promods). If you don't want to participate ( scared ), don't race just show up and watch us have fun.

Hey  Jeremy looks like I'm gonna have to take Mikes NOS bottles away so he can run the same class as us. Oh thats wright he can't run 5.0 with out them like you can. I need a little myself but I know my 565 needs to last all year and so does his. See you ,your Dad and Bic Friday and sounds like we better be looking over our shoulders.

Lets do it at Corolina Dragway!!

8 car field $125 per car   ($1000 winner take all) If you don't make the field you get your money back.

1 round of qualifying between 10.5 and 7.00 (only if more than 8 cars want in)

All participating cars must be entered in the ORSCA 5.0 points.

This is just my opinion on a format.

This would not affect the scheduled 5.00 race and would give the crowd something else to see.

Just another thought.   How about a $200 entry - $1000 to win and $600 runner up.

This could be fun and interesting.
Don't let it interfeer with the regular race. We all know some of us are set up to run other venues as well as 5.0. Those of us who are, had better be proud the ones who aren't, aint!!

I'M IN. SOMEBODY WORK OUT DETAILS NOW THAT EVERY ONE CAN AGREE TOO SO THERE IS NO DISPUTE AT THE TRACK THAT MAY STALL OR INTERFEAR WITH THE REGULAR RACE . WE NEED SOME SIMPLE RULES TO KEEP OUT THE PROMODS, LIKE YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY RUN A 5.0 RACE WITH ORSCA AND WITH THE SAME CAR OR BE KNOW AS A 5.0 CAR . WE ONLY WANT TO SEE WHAT THE REGULAR CARS CAN RUN!

We got 7 willing already. I sent Johnny an email about it today. Maybe he will work it in for us.
If we ran 1 round of qualifying, and 1st round of eliminations after the outlaws 2nd round of qualifying, the finals would be ran after the outlaws 3rd round of qualifying. If we had an 8 car field.

something to think about

It has came to our attention through the rumor mill that a certain racer may now have performance inhancing advantage over other racers. As many have now heard of a certain index racer supposedly fell and broke his foot. We now find through a careful investigation find some things in this that might not add up. He supposedly landed on his head from a fall of over nine feet confirming that racers do have the hardest heads on the planet. We now have question of how you land on your big watermellon head and wind up breaking your foot especially your right foot ? Hummm sounds like something isn't right with the evidence. The racer now has a cast on his right foot in which it has come to light that he may just have some electronic bracket racing aids wired into his right foot. The only way to ensure that fair competition is in this our tech department will have to do a complete strip search of this racer on the starting line at carolina dragway this weekend. Rumor also has it that a fine will take place at carolina for enough to feed all orsca staff for the weekend including our mascot gator.

Hey this may help some easy steps to falling on your head and not breaking your foot
Step #1 Keep control of your ballance

step # 2 know the direction you wish you could fall

step #3 Try to land on the hardest part of your body. If your a racer that would always be your head

Step #4 Don't ever forget to roll like a drag slick pumped up to high

Step # 5 always jump right up just like you ment to fall that way so your freinds will think your cool

I hope these helpful hits will make all the difference next time you decide to land on your over grown water mellon head

As many of you may not know, Glen Dutton had an accident last week in which he fell 9 feet off of the top of a trailer and broke his ankle.  Apparently he had already broken this ankle in a car wreck when he was a teenager which makes matters even worse.  The doctors told him to come back in 4 weeks and they would let him know what his options are for repairing the ankle.  Glen and his family are some of the nicest people that you will ever meet and they will go out of their way to help anyone in need.  Glen Dutton has done alot to ensure 6.0 racers in ORSCA have a class that is sponsored and that purses are paid.  I know that this is not a matter of life or death but I would still like to let him and his family know that we are thinking about him and we wish him a speedy and full recovery.
