Subject: why is there membership fees ?

i raced @ sgmp when orsca stopped on by, was wondering why is there a 25.00/125.00 fee to pay,i dont remember paying that when i ran there ? i remeber a guy passing out flyers on a tnt night & i ask about a membership fee he said there was none.
this is one of the reasons i stopped running nmra / ffw
 
that 125.00 / 25.00 could be use by a racer to help fuel there tow rig & go to the next event
 
correct me if i am wrong but thats what i remember

It's all George Bush fault. 
The first time we raced at SGMP fuel was $ 2.00 a gallon
We had half the staff we have now.
Our racing budget was around $ 400.000 a year  Now it's pretty close to a Million.
Quite simply put the cost of running a business has doubled.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt
the person doing it."

could ya help us out here ? maybe do some cut backs ???

i have been a member since 01' with nmra nmca ffw .now i stopped racing nmra / nmca & ffw this year due to fuel cost & the membership fee that is only good for 2 yrs ???

i know for now i am racing @ home, sure miss traveling.
