Most of the nitrous engines are at least 700+ and some are well over 800. The last time I checked, BG did still have the world record (with a 404 ci sbf engine) and he lowered his previous record several times at the last ADRL event. I'm far from a NH and not one to normally defend anyone especially someone that I consider to be a professional racer but I do have to give credit when it is due. Titan and BG are both accomplishing something that very few can even relate to but then again they have the resources and connections that others only wish they had. Will the hemi produce the first 3 second runs on 10.5's? I definitely wouldn't bet against it. I also wouldn't bet against the Titan car stepping up either. If you look on YB.com you will see that I have made it quite obvious that I am super impressed with what they are doing with such a small motor. It absolutely amazes me when I see the numbers they run and as far as I know, they are still heavier than BG too.

So you feel it is a shame that I have a 496 and it is from nearly 20years ago. And the majority of the field is 700-900cui. And what 3-5 stages? Why not just come out and say you dislike that we are successful, and be done with it, BG

Bill, I've been a fan of yours for years. You're arguably the greatest Mustang racer of all time. However, over the last few years its become apparent to me that in spite of all you're successes at the end of the day you're just a big ol' crybaby and just a general purpose butthole. Maybe its time you just come out and say that YOU dislike that others are successful, and are jealous of the fact that they have sponsorship dollars that you can't get. As I said on yellowbullet, if you didn't have such a terrible personality, you'd have alot more sponsors willing to talk to you.

bill glidden has always been very nice to me and my family at every event we see him at,i think his personality is just fine.Maybe people dislike him for the simple fact of his last name and everybody assumes he gets everything handed to him

Why is it when some one like Glidden defends him self he is considerd arrogant or has a bad adittude . This guy races hard and the fact that he is sucessfull only suggests that he gives what ever it takes to win and some times you may not be as tachfull about things because lets face it ,,, your mind is around what ever it is your trying to accomplish. Not everybody is as graceful as Mike Hill. {Mike you no your my hero} I dont know Billy, and as far that goes anybody that knows me will tell you Im not a ford fan LoL, and im no damn nutt hugger either, but how can anybody not give this guy nothing but respect for his accomplishments in racing. I will also say this ... he is a hell of alot nicer to most of the negative haters then I ever was , other than his dry humer LoL, I feel like Glidden is a pretty stand up guy ! Its hard to be on top of any type of competion because EVERY ONE WANTS A PIECE OF YOU !! They hate you when you win and they love it when you lose.. Remember when they used to boo Dale Earnhart years ago he was quoted saying something like ,, Even though they boo me at least they know my name !!!!!!!! P.S hey Glidden does your wife have any sisters.... Thats what im jelouse about, A wife/crew chief . l8tr John Iannuzzi

Yes she has a sister. But she is married, and has four kids, she is a nurse, and has her hands full with the kids. Thanks for standing up as a rational thinking person, I am not jealous of anyone, I admire those who do well, and especially the ones who have really thought out and worked for their success, but I do stand up for myself at times, and think it is somewhat stupid that these comments are made, from folks who have no clue as to what this side is like, thanks, BG

billy , i have never met you ..but i have heard alot of great things about you .. i was one of your dads biggest fans when he was big in the NHRA .. and have always admired his ability to make that old ford get down . . i'm pretty sure he taught you alot and you have picked alot of tricks up of your own .. all i can say is that i admire your ability to do what you do . and to come on here and listen to these people who bash you .. and all you do is comment politely ..
