Hell, we are 4 hours from Commerce and I still wish all the races were held there.

What happened to the races at Macon?  Is the track not operating again now?

I also heard last Friday night that US19 had been closed down too.

That's 2 of the better 1/8 mile tracks in our area but like others have said, ATL Dragway is a great place to race even though it is a longer haul to get there.

I have not 100% verified it yet but that is what I was told by another racer when we were testing at Siver Dollar a couple of weekends ago.

no one said Macon closed. It was said that they couldn't come up with an agreement.

I think he was referring to US 19 Dragway and yes it is closed..... That POS owner that had it last ran it in the ground at the same time he was running all the racers off. I sure hope someone takes this track over and puts it back to some good use.
As far as Macon goes..... It is a dayum shame that someone has put that much money into that place and made all of those changes and then won't even have any races worth going to.
