Just wanted everyone to know about the procedures for pinks which is dictated by Pinks, NOT the Atlanta Dragway. Thursday they will park cars in the field OUTSIDE the racetrack. At that time you will be given a number and when they let cars in on Friday you will be called by your number. You will be parked by that number. If you want to pit with your friends you MUST be together as you come through the gate. ONLY the driver can bring thr car into the racetrack. No other vehicles will be allowed inside. Family and friends must park outside. Pit vehicles can come in only in the trailer. You will be called to tech by your number in groups of 25. PLEASE go to the Dragstrips website and read the notice about Pinks. Please remember this is a TV SHOW not a race.
And finally, be sure you can pass tech before you show up. I've heard that alot of people dont pass tech at other Pink events. This should be a blast!!!!

| Will be there with my truck and 4 members trucks and cars from my website. Running 8.90's to 10.90's. Everyone running motor and no nitrous just to try to be slow enough to make the field. What times are you guys going to be running. Would be nice to get 16 of us dialed in to a certain number and maybe we got a chance at the $10,000. |

Hey can someone answer this for me. My dad is going to be there with both my car and his car Thursday to get in line. Both cars in the same car hauler. Im coming friday at 12:00/Lunch is that going to cause a problem when he goes thru the gate? If so what do i need to do. I have to work friday morning.

Larry,
When your dad goes through the gate only he will get a tech card with a number on it. He will be pitted by that number. When you arrive you will get a tech card with a number on it. You will have to pit your car in the spot where the number on the tech card is. You will not be able to pit together. This is so the TV people can find a specific racer quickly when they want them. Hope that helps!

One more question. what time will the gates open to start coming thru Friday? If it is 2pm like the info says I will be able to get there before he goes thru the gate. If not I/we will have to go another route. I really appreciate the reply.

What if a racer can not make it on Thursday? I have to work in Greenville on Thursday and will not be back until late Thursday evening. Can I still come in on Friday morning? |

| I'll be there on Thursday.....sometime during the day. May have to unload the car to drive it to the motel though. Atlanta Dragway's web site says no dropping of the trailers. HTF am I supposed to get from there to the motel?? Doesn't say I can't drive my racecar out though.... |

There will be 24 hour amred security at the track starting today(WED). And if it makes anyone feel better the NHRA Pros have to park in the field when they show up for the Nationals. I'm not being a smart ass but the field parking seems to be an issue with alot of people. I personally dont like the no drop rule but thats what Pinks says to do. They dont want any delay in getting into the racetrack. You know with 350 people in the field a few will have uncontrollable issues with retuning on Friday AM and get things messed up. Just tryin to help.
P.S. I have left mine there several times in the past

Hey , One more question. My brothers car broke down last weekend. Can a freind of the family get in on his racer ticket with his car? My brother is just probably going to buy a general admission ticket. Let me know.

yeah, they have a lot of re=runs.
they called her last week and had her come out friday to Madison county to do a commercial for the Atlanta all out show, which will air on august. |
