ORSCA – 2006 World Champions Outlaw Racing Street Car Association – Home of the World’s Fastest Outlaws, concluded its final points series race at Carolina Dragway, Aiken, South Carolina, on November 19th and announced its World Champions for all six classes just a few days after the required points confirmation. The points lead changed hands numerous times during the season and no one was sure what the final outcome would be for any class of the ORSCA.
In speaking to each World Champion, one thing became very apparent. Each team in the series began this past season with a dream. That dream being - to hold the World Champion Title for their respective class. You can bet that the competition was long, hard and tough through nine points series races, and only the strong survived. So how does it feel to be the 2006 ORSCA World Champion? Which race was the worst, which one was the best? What improvements does one make in set-up to gain and hold that leading edge? What changes/goals can be expected from a World Champion Race Team for 2007?
Allow us the pleasure of introducing each of the 2006 ORSCA World Champions as they share their struggles to turn a ” Field of Dreams into a Reality”.
